Operating in the emerging biogas sector in South Africa, AgriGas Africa was established in 2021 in response to South Africa’s looming Natural Gas (NG) supply deficit. Following a rigorous three-year pre-feasibility investigation, AgriGas has developed a biomethane solution that transforms organic feedstock into biogas which offers a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional fossil fuels.
AgriGas Africa is in the process of raising capital to construct biogas plants in South Africa. Given the complexity of the work and the relative novelty of the sector, AgriGas needed a clear, compelling narrative that would make the project understandable to investors unfamiliar with the industry, while still conveying the technical credibility and depth required to inspire confidence.
Step Advisory partnered closely with the AgriGas team to design a professionally structured, fact-based Investor Memorandum and a supporting investor presentation. This included:
- Reviewing and synthesising over 1,000 pages of technical reports, research, and project documentation
- Distilling complex technical content into a cohesive, engaging narrative tailored for investor audiences
- Crafting an 82-page Investor Memorandum with strong visual design and data-led storytelling
- Developing an engaging investor presentation aligned with the IM, designed for roadshow conversations
- Highlighting AgriGas’ business model, revenue streams, R&D process, and investment potential in a clear and compelling manner
Step delivered both a detailed Investor Memorandum and an investor-ready presentation that enabled AgriGas to confidently engage both local and international funders. The IM clearly communicated the company’s vision, technological expertise, and investment case, successfully positioning AgriGas as a credible and attractive opportunity in South Africa’s renewable energy landscape.
